A Patriot Index from the Westminster Chapter

Carroll might not have had any battles fought in it in the American Revolution—The county didn’t even exist yet—but it was or would become home for many a patriot.Our Index falls into three parts:

Members’ Patriot Ancestors—while some of these Patriots may have lived in Carroll County, some did not, but their descendants have called Carroll County home
Patriots who lived in Carroll County—patriots known to have lived in the Carroll County area at some time, according to various sources.
Patriots buried in Carroll County—a list of known or possible patriots who are buried in the county.
