Military. Private, served 14 months, Virginia Militia Detachment under CAPT James Booth.

BIOGRAPHY
Thomas Cunningham, son of Hugh Cunningham and Nancy O'Neill, was born 1748 in Dublin, Ireland and died 5 FEB 1826 in Harrison County, Virginia (now West Virginia). He married in 1776 or 1777 Phoebe Tucker, who was born 1761 in England and died in 1845 in Freed, Calhoun County, Virginia (now West Virginia).

Thomas and Phoebe had the following children:

Sara Leah Cunningham, born JUL 1795 on Binghamon Creek, Harrison County, Virginia (now West Virginia), died JUL 1874 in Charleston, West Virginia. She married in 1819 to Benjamin Harman who was born 1797 on Cedar Creek, Randolph County, Virginia (now West Virginia) and died in 1866 on the Middle Fork of Reedy, Roane County, West Virginia
