Robert Carter of "Nomini Hall" (in Westmoreland County, Virginia) was born FEB 1728 at "Corotoman" (in Northumberland County, Virginia) and died MAR 1804 in Baltimore City, Maryland. He married on 15 APR 1754 in Baltimore City, Maryland to Frances Ann Tasker. She was born about 1738 in Baltimore City, Maryland and died about 1787 st "Nomini Hall" (in Westmoreland County, Virginia).

Robert and Frances had the following children:

Betty Landon Carter, born on 25 OCT 1764 at "Nomini Hall" (in Westmoreland County, Virginia) and died on 5 JAN 1842 at "Portici" (in Prince William County, Virginia) She married about 1790 at "Portici" (in Prince William County, Virginia) to Spencer Ball, who was born on 6 AUG 1762 at "Portici" (in Prince William County, Virginia), died on 28 FEB 1832 at "Portici" (in Prince William County, Virginia).
