John Hoit was born 23 SEP 1752 in Epping, New Hampshire and died 2 SEP 1xxx in Meigs County, Ohio. He married in 1773 in Grafton, New Hampshire to Hannah Prescott.


He and his wife had the following children:

1. Robert Hoit, born 25 FEB 1785 in Epping, New Hampshire, died 1853 in Meigs County, Ohio. He married in 1806 in Grafton, New Hampshire to Susanna Barney. She was born 1785 in Epping, New Hampshire and died 1841 in Meigs County, Ohio.
