BIOGRAPHY
George Devilbiss, the son of Hans Debelbesin, was born in 1715 in the Palatinate (now in Germany, although some sources report the birthplace as Alsace, now in France) and died in 1785 in Frederick Co., Maryland. He married about 1741 in Frederick Co., Maryland to Anna Catherine Stull, who died in
Frederick Co., Maryland.
George and Anna had the following children:
i. i. John, born 28 JUL 1743 in Frederick Co, Maryland, died 1804, married Margaret Kramer.
ii. George, born 1745 in Maryland, died 1806, married (1) Barbara [--?--] and (2) Rebecca Devilbiss (George Devilbiss and Elizabeth Ogle).
iii. Catherine, born 1748, died 1800, married George Creager
iv. Adam, born 18 SEP 1750 in Frederic County, Maryland, died 12 SEP 1794, married Catherine Barrick.
v. Barbara, born 12 SEP 1752, died 1 FEB 1836, married John Brunner.
vi. Rosanna, born 7 MAR 1755, died 7 AUG 1832, married Jacob Barrick.
vii. Frederick, born 1757 in Maryland, died about 1790, married Anna Marya Schultz
