The Chapter's JROTC and ROTC Award Winners
The following is a list of the JROTC Award Winners and their school
since the chapter first presented a JROTC award in Carroll County in
2006:
- 2006: CAPT Tatiana M. Kish (Winters Mill HS). CAPT Kish,
besides being the first to win the award from our chapter, was also winner
of the Maryland State Society SAR JROTC Award and placed second overall among
16 state competitors for the National Society SAR JROTC Award.
- 2007: LTC Tatiana M. Kish (Winters Mill HS).
- 2008: No award made.
- 2009: SGM Jacob Brooks (Century HS). Cadet Brooks was also the
winner of the Maryland State Society SAR JROTC Award.

- 2011: Two awards made.
- 2012: Two awards made.

- 2021: CDT MAJ Nicholas Henderson (Winters Mill HS). Cadet MAJ Henderson was also the
winner of the Maryland State Society SAR JROTC Award.

The list of the ROTC Award Winners since the chapter first presented a ROTC
award in Carroll County and who have attended our Chapter meetings to make a
short presentation about their training and plans for the future:
- 2003: Cadet Lee Stewart. Cadet Stewart attended
our 30 APR 2003 Chapter Meeting.
- 2004: Cadet Lufkin. Cadet Lufkin attended our 31 MAR 2004
Chapter Meeting.
- 2005: Cadet Tim Clare. Cadet Clare attended our 30 MAR
2005 Chapter Meeting along with MSGT Jose Flores, the ROTC Training Director
at McDaniel College.
