The Application for Charter, transcribed below, provides the names of the twenty-two charter members of the Westminster Chapter.

APPLICATION FOR CHARTER
To the Board of Managers of the Maryland Society of the Sons of the American Revolution:

COMPATRIOTS: The undersigned Members of the Westminster Society of the SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, residing in Carroll County, respectfully apply for the privilege of organizing a Chapter within the said area, in pursuance of and according to By-law No. 2, Section 6, of the National Society, and in accordance with Article IV of the Constitution of the Maryland Society of the SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. The headquarters of the Chapter will be at Westminster, in the County of Carroll, or at such other place within the said area of Carroll County as may hereafter be determined by the said Chapter, and the following are the names and residences of the members thereof:
